This match will ultimately decide the national football champion for the 2017 NFL season. Players will also be able to take a great deal of pride in knowing that they are literally the best in the world. Interestingly enough, this will be the first time that the Eagles have made it to the top since 2004. Expect thrills, chills and surprises along the way.

Super Bowl 2018 Location and Stadium
As mentioned previously, this year’s game will be held in the northern state of Minnesota. This is actually quite important, for the United States have been gripped by cold weather recently. Some even feel that this Super Bowl could be the coldest match since the event was first held. Will these conditions have an impact upon either team? Both hail from relatively cold climates, so this question is debatable. Both teams will be playing at US Bank Stadium. This is a fixed-roof stadium, so inclement weather should not present a problem. There are 131 executive seats fro VIP guests and the stadium holds a maximum of 73,000 spectators (extended from 66,665 guests during normal events). It should be mentioned that this stadium is equipped with S5 artificial turf. S5 it known for its slightly higher pile and this could give both teams a bit more traction when compared to other varieties. This turf should also provide players with a great deal of speed during blitzes and similar running patterns.
Super Bowl 2018 Halftime Show
The halftime show of the 2018 Super Bowl should not disappoint spectators. It is being headlined by Justin Timberlake. This marks his fourth time hosting such an event. Still, don’t assume that we will see any of the dramatics associated with his Janet Jackson debacle from some years earlier. His new album “Man of the Woods” recently went public, so we can expect that some of these songs will be features. It is not yet known whether he will be incorporating other performers into the show. He will have the stage for a total of 13 minutes. This obviously does not include any of the commercials that will be seen by television viewers.
Super Bowl 2018 Teams
Both teams are veterans of the game and there is no doubt that rivalries have been brewing. The Philadelphia Eagles are representing the NFC while the New England Patriots will be carrying the banner for the AFC. This is actually notable, for this is only the fourth time when the top teams from both conferences have competed against one another in a Super Bowl.
New England Patriots
The Patriots are definitely coming into this Super Bowl with an advantage. They are currently the defending champions and they will not let this title slide without a fight. They finished their regular season with a record of 13 wins and 3 losses. This is due to the coaching prowess of Bill Belichick. The team itself is also quite cohesive. Regular double-digit wins against their opponents helped to solidify their confidence during the regular season and the playoffs. Of course, part of this is due to the mastery of quarterback Tom Brady. Other players to watch out for during the Super Bowl include fullback James Develin and receiver Brandon Cooks. While their defence scored poorly in terms of yards allowed, they did not give up many points. This indicates that when push comes to shove, defence will step up to the line.
Like the Patriots, the Philadelphia Eagles finished their regular season with a record of 13 wins and 3 losses. This was a massive improvement compared to the previous year. They scored a total of 457 points in the regular season and gave up only 295 points (the fourth lowest in the league). This was due in no small part to the efforts put forth by Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz. Their defence is also ranked fourth in the league; virtually equal to the Patriots. The major difference is that 2004 was the last year that the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Will they be the comeback story of 2018? We will wait and see.
